Consumer Health IT Summit (09/12/2011)

Secretary Sebelius, CTO Todd Park, Surgeon General Benjamin, MD, and health care stakeholders hold a summit to discuss how to empower patients to be partners in their health and care using health IT to access their health information. Secretary Sebelius proposed a new rule to empower patients, allowing them to gain access to test results reports directly from labs. Health IT Week celebrates the improvements being made in the quality of health care through new technologies.
